An Opportunity To Let The Council Know How You Value Nature

Hackney Council has a recent addition in the form of a biodiversity officer; Kate Mitchell. She is working on a biodiversity plan for Hackney and has consulted just about every interested and expert group in the borough. Now the draft is out for public comment. The plan will include details of native species to be nurtured and guidance for planners and parks on designing and planting for biodiversity.

CPNAG fully supports this consultation and we request that you take a few minutes to complete the survey? Even a basic response will show Hackney Council how much local people would value the council improving the management of green and other spaces to encourage wildlife and habitat.

Further information is at: http://www.hackney.gov.uk/biodiversity-consultation.htm and the online survey is at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/3RK9JXK

The consultation is open until 24 October.
