The date for the next Clapton Conference meeting has been set as follows, with information regarding later ones below:
This is for the General Meeting (the one for everyone; to find out what is happening across the area and possibly raise issues of concern. Officers and councillors have been invited to answer questions, or to direct people to those who can assist.)
Date: Monday, February 27 2012
Venue: St John’s Ambulance Hall, Mildenhall Road
The subjects covered will include:
– Olympics – parking zone
– Staff reductions at Clapton and Homerton rail stations
– Community First Panel – information about an opportunity that has arisen for local projects to apply for some funding.
Regarding further meetings; our next Stakeholder Representative meeting will actually be a meeting run by Hackney Council, in March. This will be the start of the public consultation on the Planning Brief for the area around the former Clapton Cinematograph. Date to follow as soon as confirmed by Hackney Council.
Our next Networking Meeting will be scheduled shortly, for April or May.
