The Clapton Conference General Meeting – Agenda
As per the post from last week, tonight is the General Meeting for the Clapton Conference.

Agenda:
Topics to be covered in this meeting:
- Olympics – parking zone
- Proposed staff reductions at Clapton and Homerton rail stations
- Community First Panel – information about an opportunity that has arisen for local projects to apply for some funding.
- Planning application for 229 Lower Clapton Road – this is the former Clapton Cinematograph building, due to be the focal point of a planning brief consultation run by the Council this Spring. The consultation meeting, due to be set imminently, will also constitute the Clapton Conference Stakeholder Meeting.
- Open Discussion
In the Open Discussion, those present will be invited to raise topics, ask questions & take part in the discussion, by the chair. People are asked to speak through the chair and to remember only one person speaking at any one time. Council officers will be invited to comment where appropriate but are not present to answer questions on the Council’s general policy, or matters outside their departmental remit.
The discussion will be supported by Hackney Council officers from Transportation, Planning and Community Safety departments.
