Pond House Planning Application

For those of you living in the direct vicinity of Pond House (for those who don’t know – the small white mansion behind Clapton Pond, currently masked by green hoardings), you will have received a letter about this, along with an architect’s impression of the facade and also of the proposed six family houses to be built on the site currently occupied by the former St John’s Ambulance Brigade garages in Mildenhall Road. There is a planning application due to be submitted in the next few days, proposing the conversion of the house and the stable block into 5 flats, and the building of the aforementioned six houses on the southern edge of this property’s land in Mildenhall Road. Representatives of the developers have confirmed that they will be present at our next public meeting to answer any questions .
