Reminder: Hackney Council – Consultation on a Planning Guidance Document

As per the posting on this web-site from April 3, this is a reminder of Hackney Council’s ‘Clapton Community Evening’ next week, at 7.30pm, on Tuesday, 24th April, at the B-Six Sixth Form College, by the roundabout at the junction of Lea Bridge Road and Upper Clapton Road.

The purpose of the evening is for the community to talk to the Council Planning Dept, and to each other, in order to start progressing a Planning Guidance Document which will focus on the former Clapton Cinematograph Theatre and it’s immediate environment. It will also be an opportunity for the community to set out their vision and share with the Council the issues that they consider important in the general area.

Anyone in the community is welcome to come along and share their views on this document.
