Clapton Pond Refurbishment

Great news! The works to refurbish the play area at the Pond are due to commence on 4th October.

Congratulations to members of the Clapton Pond Neighbourhood Action Group (CPNAG) and Lea Bridge Labour councillors for all their work on this project, and thanks to Green Spaces officers for their work in moving things along.As a result the whole of that section of Clapton Pond will be closed to the general public whilst the works are taking place.

The works are due to take 5 weeks, reopening to the public on 5th November. Some internal fencing will likely remain in order to let the planting establish. Notices will go up around the Pond area.
